Cirrus gets infected

Contrary to what the title would indicate, this virus isn't that lifethreatening. It's a virus most music-loving Dutch folk are seriously infected with. Once you can't stop listening when you hear music once composed by The Great Bach, you're hooked :).

So this is how I found my little elf yesterday:
Image
*humming notes* Oh my Loth! These lyrics ...... such horrible torture put in such beautiful words. By Loth who wrote this??
Hmm, Bach had his sources for these kind of lyrics ;).
Image
I'm supposed to sing this Mommy. I tried out at the music academy and got accepted!
Awesome :D. Congrats dear boy ;)
Image
Oh thankyou Mommy. I'm so glad to have a job now. But this is quite serious business.
And beautiful music :)
Image
Yes, even though it's about a poor and innocent man getting his back whipped, it also tells about heaven, flashfloods and rainbows.....
Image
Gosh, it is confusing...

Well, that's human poetry for you ;). Now that I have some idea what poetry is about, I get an idea about what it means and these lyrics appear to have references to other stories in The Bible. It's interesting reading ;).

Anyway, this concert will be awesome Mommy. Lord Shinta and lady Anje are also taking solo parts. And lord Saito is member of the choir! I still need to practice though. This music is still a bit alien to me.
It'll come to you, don't worry :). Seems like you've got the Bach-virus already ;)
Image
Oh I can already hear it in my head! Wonderful :squee:

A while later:

Hello Cirrus-san, shall we go practice at the piano?
Lord Shinta, sure thing!
Okay, get yourself a pencil from mom's desk drawer. You'll be taking a shitload of notes ;)

Image
*piano playing in the background*
*thinking*Interesting..... Come to think of it, may have met him when he was still a kid. Knew he had promise, even though he was scrawny.
Image
*singing*Erwäge, erwäge, wie sein blutgefärbter Rücken in allen Stücken, in allen Stücken...
Nani?? Can this be.... Is this Cirrus-san? Kirei...... :)
Image
The elf, sings so beautifully.
Image
*sits back and listens*

Image
*singing*Daran, nachdem die Wasserwo oho .....
*sigh*
Image
They just smile at each other, acknowledging the wonder which has taken place: Cirrus catching the Bach-virus...
Image
and catching it good!
*sigh*
*sigh*
Image
*whispers*Beorn totally digs this.

Yeah, hihi.
Image
I can see you've been listening :). I'm pretty sure it'll be a wonderful concert :)
Yep, I've also been listening carefully to lord Shinta's lecture about Baroque musical practise :)
Image
Cirrus-san, it was like meditating, but a lot better than meditating :)
I'm very glad you're performing with us. It's going to be quite special :)
Image
Yay, another soul hooked on Bach :D
