Through the looking-glass

Het heeft me een tijdje geduurd, maar ik heb dan eindelijk mijn derde photo story af. Deze gaat een beetje door op mijn vorige 'These Walls'. De uitleg heb ik wederom van deviantart gekopieerd.

Uitleg:
Just like my previous photo story "These Walls", this one has several different hidden meanings.
For starters the title; ‘Through the looking-glass’. I choose this title because the photos were taken at my Alice in Wonderland party.
What’s happening? Regan is still trapped inside the walls he build. Obviously, he hasn’t found Rayne yet, but he keeps searching. The longer he is trapped in between these four walls. The more he starts to question himself. How long has he been inside this walls? What is real(ity)?
Then, this unknown figure appears from outside the walls. He jumps into the walls, exposing Regan. (This by taking off his hat.) “How do you feel?” That is the question he is asked. But Regan knows there is not an easy answer.
Being exposed to this stranger, as it were, he now slowly gathers the courage to expose this man. Who will he see? (Looking from the outside in, describing what you see..) What he sees are only parts of this man, until the hat is pulled down and the man’s true identity is revealed.
The man Regan is staring at .. is Regan himself. But the man Regan is looking at is a ‘darker’ version of himself.
The contradiction in this is: Regan has dark hair. (He is originally blonde but dyes it black.) Regan is the one dressed with more black then white. His other self however, the other figure, is blonde and dressed in mostly white. (Also note the change in face and nails.)
Normally people build a wall to keep their evil inside. Regan has locked himself far away in between these walls and the evil that’s inside of him comes to face him. His bad habit is shutting himself away from the world completely. And he gets stuck with no way out. (As if his darker self is keeping him there.
What he does with this realization I’ll not tell. (Partially because I don’t know myself, partially because there can be many outcomes.)
